Se jubila el copiloto del avión que ‘aterrizó’ en el río Hudson
✈ Jeff Skiles, a pilot at American Airlines for 30 years, retires. Distinguished for co-piloting the Airbus 320 that landed on New York's Hudson River in 2009 after a bird strike. Skiles' final flight was from London Heathrow to Chicago as captain of a 787-9 Dreamliner. Despite less fame than Captain Chesley Sullenberger, Skiles gained official recognition for his role in the 2009 "Miracle on the Hudson". He purchased a ticket for his wife to join his last flight.
