David Chapman, the appointed liquidator, is working on finalizing the process involving 57 different entities. Creditors must submit claims by August 2, with expected payments by the end of September. Thomas Cook collapsed in September 2019 due to a debt over £1.1 billion (over €1.3 billion), acquired by Fosun International for £11 million (€12.75 million) to relaunch as an online travel agency.
