A Canair-operated ATR 72-600 for Binter, flying from Tenerife to El Hierro, experienced wind shear during approach. The crew circled northeast of the island almost ten times before a successful landing. Flightradar24 image revealed the unusual flight path.

✈ The global order book for airplanes reached 17,000 units by the end of 2024, equivalent to 50% of the current fleet. Despite surpassing 2019 air traffic levels last year, aircraft deliveries remained 30% below pre-pandemic peaks. Manufacturers like Boeing and Airbus are struggling to regain production rates; Boeing delivered 45 aircraft in January while Airbus delivered 25. 🚨 Jet2 Boeing 737 crew flying from Newcastle, England to Tenerife Sur reported about 15 drunk passengers, requiring police on arrival. Given priority for landing, passengers were greeted by Guardia Civil and airport security. The incident was shared by air traffic controllers via their X account.

✈ Air France will introduce Economy Comfort seats on flights starting May 6, offering more space than standard economy class, prioritized boarding, an upgraded meal, and free seat selection. 🚀 An American Airlines Boeing 737 caught fire at Denver International Airport last Thursday after being diverted from Colorado Springs to Dallas-Fort Worth due to engine vibrations.
