🗺️ Meliá Hotels International adds a new hotel in Salta, Argentina, to its portfolio. Starting October, the 167-room Hotel Alejandro I will operate under the Affiliated by Meliá brand. Located centrally, near Plaza 9 de Julio and key historic sites, it offers a restaurant, bar, spa, gym, MICE spaces, and parking. Just 10 km from Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport, this expansion is part of Meliá's growth strategy in Argentina, led by CEO Gabriel Escarrer.

🏨 Hilton opened the Palacio de Godoy Cáceres, Curio Collection by Hilton, in Cáceres, Spain, marking its debut in Extremadura. This $14M investment transformed a palace built in 1563 into a 73-room hotel with event halls and a spa. The project, developed by SCIPION Real Estate and managed by Panoram Hotel Management, created 60 jobs. The hotel's restaurant, Mamay Aldana, led by chef Antonio Manuel Céspedes Rodríguez, honors local culture and history.

🏨 VP Hoteles will debut hotel management in March 2026 in Menorca with a 5-star luxury hotel owned by a U.S. investor. Currently, they have five properties in Madrid. The new division, SD Facilities & Management, plans to open another hotel by 2028. The group anticipates a revenue of €42 million in 2025, with VP Hoteles contributing €34 million (18-20% increase) and Ginkgo Restaurants €8 million. Net profit is expected to rise by 10% from €3 million in 2024.

🏨 Eurostars Hotel Company expands in the U.S. with the acquisition of the Eurostars St. Gregory, a 4-star hotel in Washington D.C. The hotel, located near Georgetown and Dupont Circle, offers 156 rooms and versatile event spaces for up to 200 attendees. Featuring the Ellington Park Bistro, this move aligns with Eurostars' international growth strategy, focusing on key markets like Washington D.C. for its institutional importance and tourism appeal.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Alliance Hotels, is set to open six Voco Hotels in Mexico by 2027. These strategic locations—Cancún, Guadalajara, Ciudad Juárez, San Luis Potosí, Torreón, and Nuevo Laredo—will add 848 rooms. Currently, Voco has four operating hotels and five under development in Mexico. Globally, Voco has 102 hotels in development. In early 2025, 57% of IHG's global openings stemmed from conversions, highlighting significant growth potential for property owners.

🏨 El 6 de octubre de 2025, España verá la apertura de reservas para el Programa de Turismo del Imserso 2025-2026. Más de 4 millones de pensionistas podrán disfrutar de viajes subvencionados. 🏨 Gerard Greene, cofundador de Yotel, abrió el hotel rural Off Grid Girona en Alta Garrotxa, Girona, el 1 de septiembre. La masía del siglo XVII, restaurada con Ariadna Puigdomenech, cuenta con 10 habitaciones. El hotel prioriza la sostenibilidad con energía solar, compostaje, y productos locales. 🏨 Slow Life Hotels añadirá el Hotel MontRubí 1771, un hotel boutique de 5 estrellas y solo para adultos, a su portafolio en Penedès, Cataluña. Situado en una masía del siglo XVIII, el hotel está rodeado por 100 hectáreas de la Finca MontRubí, con 40 hectáreas de viñedos. Este establecimiento refuerza la oferta de lujo consciente de la cadena, enfocándose en autenticidad y experiencias memorables, según su CEO, Toni Zapater.

🏡 Acerca Hospitality has expanded to Costa Brava by adding the 60-apartment complex, Suites del Mar Fenals in Lloret de Mar, to its portfolio. Owned by Arena Investors and Aexx Capital, this move includes plans for upgrading the suites, each featuring a private terrace and indoor jacuzzi, to premium status. Acerca Hospitality, led by Director General Gonzalo Hervás, aims to enhance market value and appeal. This is their fourth asset with Arena Investors.
