🏨 Summum Hotel Group expands in Mallorca with three new establishments: Hotel Playa Mondragó in Santanyí with 49 rooms, Apartsuites La Ribera Playa de Palma with 24 premium apartments, and Finca Hotel Son Mas featuring 23 Junior Suites. These additions bring their total to 18 establishments, enhancing their offerings in luxury and flexible tourism. Finca Son Mas is set on a 17th-century estate near Porto Cristo, emphasizing wellness and local gastronomy.

🛢 Meliá Hotels International is expanding in the Middle East, with its first hotel in Bahrain on Amwaj Island, set to open in 2027. The development will feature 256 units, including 150 hotel rooms and 106 branded residences. Developed by Infracorp, it will include five pools, dining and retail areas, wellness spaces, and event venues. Located 15 minutes from Bahrain International Airport, the hotel aims to strengthen Meliá's regional presence.

🏨 Ibervalles plans to open a 15-story luxury hotel in Azca, Madrid, near Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and the future World Tourism Organization headquarters. 💰 Senator Hotels & Resorts aims to close 2025 with a revenue of €207 million, while expanding into new European markets alongside IHG. As of now, they operate 41 hotels and plan to reach 60 by 2029. The company has a strong presence in the Caribbean, specifically Puerto Plata, with 1,500 rooms and favorable conditions for tourists. Future projects involve opening several hotels across Europe, including partnerships with IHG brands like Indigo and Vignette.

🏨 Hoteles Bestprice plans to open a new hotel in Logroño, transforming the old casino on Sagasta Street into a modern venue, with an estimated investment of €5 million. The project, unveiled by Mayor Conrado Escobar and President Óscar Sánchez, aims to open by Q2 2027, creating 15-20 direct jobs. It will preserve architectural elements, feature 63 rooms, and offer meeting spaces for 80. Bestprice targets a €10 million turnover by 2025 with 11 Spanish hotels.

This is part of the 10 million square meter Punta Bergantín project, supported by the Dominican government and Grupo Reservas. The five-star hotel will have 400 rooms and diverse amenities. Meliá's CEO, Gabriel Escarrer, and Grupo Puntacana's CEO, Frank Elías Rainieri, emphasize sustainable tourism development.

🏨 deLuna Hotels, led by CEO Javier Tausia, saw a strong recovery in 2023, with expected revenues exceeding €16 million. After an irregular first quarter in Granada, the business surged, with significant gains in occupancy and online reputation. International demand, particularly from North America and Western Europe, increased. By 2027, deLuna plans to add nearly 500 rooms, including new hotels in Cádiz, Sevilla, and Motril. The Gran Hotel Luna Cádiz will open in May 2025 with 240 rooms.
