📍 Only You Hotels expands globally by opening its first international location in New York, a strategic move highlighted by Juan Serra of Palladium Hotel Group. The hotel offers a variety of services emphasizing a genuine New York experience and exceptional hospitality. It features a unique culinary space with signature mixology and gastronomic offerings inspired by global cultures. A private room accommodates 8-10 people, enhancing the versatile common areas for both guests and locals.

🏨 RIU Hotels & Resorts inauguró su sexto hotel en Cancún, el Riu Ventura, ubicado en Playa Delfines. Este nuevo complejo ofrece 705 habitaciones, incluyendo 36 unidades swim-up. El hotel presenta una zona exclusiva para adultos con piscina y Sky Bar en la sexta planta. Los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de seis restaurantes y seis bares. RIU ahora cuenta con 23 hoteles en México y planifica renovaciones y nuevas construcciones en Quintana Roo para 2026.

🏨 SH Hoteles opened the SH Jávea on December 2, in collaboration with the Guillem family, after a €20 million investment. Located near Jávea's historic center and port, this 4-star hotel features 131 rooms, an outdoor pool, a wellness center, and a local-focused restaurant. The project, led by Javier Vallés, aims to integrate with the local community and create approximately 100 jobs. SH Hoteles now operates 13 locations in the Comunidad Valenciana and one in Murcia.

🌴 H10 Hotels, December 2025, Costa Mujeres: H10 opens its first adults-only premium resort, Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres, featuring 599 suites. Guests enjoy amenities like Swim-Up Junior Suites, eight restaurants, ten bars, two main pools, a wave pool, and a lazy river. The Privilege service offers exclusive beach and pool areas. The resort hosts up to 640 event attendees. This venture strengthens H10's Caribbean presence, joining existing resorts in Mexico, Punta Cana, and Jamaica.

🏨 Silken Hoteles has expanded its presence in Bilbao by integrating Hotel Sirimiri into its portfolio as of December 1st. The 3-star hotel, now known as Silken Sirimiri, is located in Bilbao's old town. It features 56 rooms, some accessible for people with reduced mobility, along with a breakfast lounge, 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, and parking. Silken Hoteles, headquartered in Vitoria-Gasteiz, now offers over 3,000 rooms across 30 establishments in 25 destinations.

🏨 28 de noviembre, Sos del Rey Católico: Raquel Sánchez, presidenta de Paradores, anunció una inversión de 2,5 millones de euros para modernizar el Parador de Sos del Rey Católico, cerrando el edificio durante 5 meses desde enero de 2026. La reforma incluye la actualización de baños, mejoras en eficiencia energética y renovaciones interiores. Parte de un plan de modernización de la Red de Paradores, que suma 18 millones de euros en Aragón, y prevé alcanzar 100 Paradores en España.

🏗️ Kategora plans to open Kora Sevilla, a €32 million hotel complex in Nervión, by late 2027. The 10,000 m² building will feature 136 units from 27 to 46 m², designed by BAKPAK and Furtivo, inspired by local traditions. It will include 1,600 m² of shared spaces, a 20-meter infinity pool, and a rooftop. Sustainable construction practices aim for BREEAM certification, with solar panels and aerothermal systems for energy efficiency.

📍 AR Hotels & Resorts is transforming by adding 736 rooms in strategic Spanish locations, expanding into the Peninsula, Balearic, and Canary Islands. In Tenerife, it manages three hotels: Hotel Concordia (236 rooms), Hotel Nopal (64 rooms), and Apartamentos Atlántida (191 units). In Ibiza, it repositions Beach Star Ibiza (74 rooms), and in Palma, it opens a luxury hotel (38 rooms) in 2028. The Foodies Spain Entertainment division introduces new Mediterranean dining concepts, enhancing its market position.

📍 Hyatt Hotels plans to open three new hotels in Portugal and one in Cape Verde between 2024 and 2026. First-quarter 2026 sees the Andaz Lisbon opening with 170 rooms, and The Standard, Lisbon in Alfama with 197 rooms. The Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve will offer 250+ rooms, while Hyatt Regency Cape Verde Sal will launch in Sal Island. This expansion targets urban and resort areas, driven by increased tourism and international investment.

🗺 IHG is prioritizing Spain as a key market in Europe alongside Germany, the UK, and France due to its growth potential. Spain hosts 16 ongoing hotel projects, including three recent openings: Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella, Hotel Indigo Gandía-Beach, and Voco Bilbao City. IHG aims to expand in Spain with brands like Holiday Inn and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. Future openings include Holiday Inn San Sebastián, expected in 2026. Holiday Inn and Express make up 65% of IHG's Spanish portfolio.
