✈️ Skytrax's annual index ranks global airline quality. In 2025, Qatar Airways leads, followed by Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, and All Nippon Airways. The top European airline is Turkish at sixth place. European rankings feature Turkish, Air France, Swiss, British Airways, and others. Business class leaders are Qatar and Singapore, while Singapore excels in First Class. Air Asia tops low-cost carriers, with Scoot and IndiGo trailing. Iberia places seventh among European airlines.

✈ Air India, facing chaos, announced on Thursday the suspension of flights to three destinations: Delhi-Nairobi, Amritsar-Gatwick, and Goa-Gatwick. Flight frequencies are reduced on 16 routes including Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco, and Chicago. Operations, primarily using 787 aircraft under inspection, are slowed. This service reduction starts immediately and continues until July 15, due to the Iranian airspace closure and safety inspections.

💸 Viajes El Corte Inglés achieved record revenue of €3.449 billion for 2024-25 (year ending February 28, 2025), a 4.3% increase from €3.306 billion the previous year. The group reported an EBITDA of €101 million, up 8.6% from the prior year. El Corte Inglés had total revenues of €16.675 billion, with EBITDA rising 11.9% to €1.209 billion, and net profit increasing by 6.7% to €512 million. Debt decreased by €263 million.
