Aldama a Koldo: “Begoña no está implicada en Air Europa”

📦 Víctor de Aldama, relacionado con Air Europa, desvincula a Begoña Gómez del rescate estatal de 475 millones de euros a la empresa. Presiones fueron ejercidas sobre el ministro José Luis Ábalos y ministras María Jesús Montero y Nadia Calviño debido a la importancia estratégica de la compañía, que emplea a 50,000 personas. La operación fue supervisada por SEPI y PWC. Pepe Hidalgo ofreció garantías para el rescate, incluyendo hoteles.

Se acaban los límites a los líquidos en aeropuertos

🛫 Comisión Europea, 2025, aeropuertos, introducción de escáneres 3D CT, eliminación de límites de líquidos en equipaje de mano. Los pasajeros podrán llevar cualquier cantidad de agua, leche o perfumes. Sin embargo, la medida se aplicará solo en aeropuertos equipados con estos escáneres, con una implementación inmediata durante el verano. Este nuevo control utiliza software avanzado para detectar explosivos, una mejora sobre las restricciones previas motivadas por incidentes de seguridad en vuelos a EE. UU.

Agencias y GDS se rebelan contra los abusos de las aerolíneas

Así empleará Iberia sus ocho Airbus A321XLR

✈ Iberia exclusively operates Airbus A321XLR flights to the Americas. By early 2026, they’ll have 8 such aircraft, already flying to Boston, Washington, Recife, and Fortaleza. In October, San Juan is added. Toronto and Philadelphia are potential next stops. Monterrey uses wide-body planes. Starting November 2024, the A321XLR carries 182 passengers over 8,700 km, saving 30% fuel per passenger compared to older models, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

Harán falta 660.000 pilotos y un millón de TCP en los próximos 20 años

✈️ Boeing estimates a need for 2.4 million new aviation professionals globally over the next 20 years, including 660,000 pilots, 710,000 maintenance technicians, and 1 million flight attendants. Eurasia, China, and North America will account for over half of hires, with 550,000, 426,000, and 435,000, respectively. Irán se ríe de las sanciones y se hace con 5 Boeing 777

✈️ Mahan Airlines, July 2025, Iran, acquired five Boeing 777s from NokScoot, previously of Singapore Airlines. Due to sanctions, the aircraft were initially registered in Madagascar before moving to Iran. In early July, they flew from Cambodia's Reap Angkor airport, their transponders off over Afghan or Pakistani airspace. Since 2019, Iran has acquired 33 Western-blocked planes, including an A340 from Iberia. More Boeing 777s may soon join their fleet.
