✈ Plus Ultra, in 2026, plans a fleet expansion with two Airbus A330 by 2025. New route to Buenos Aires starts in May 2025 with two weekly flights, increasing to four by July. Buenos Aires joins existing routes to Bogotá, Cartagena, Lima, and Caracas. Plus Ultra operates in 18 countries across four continents, focusing on Latin America. The expansion elevates regular routes to eight, aligning with profitability and market growth goals.

✈ Iberojet achieved a historic milestone by crossing the Pacific Ocean for the first time on November 1-2, 2025. Two Airbus A350s completed charter operations connecting Peru, Mexico, and Japan. José Ignacio Lugo, Iberojet's general director, expressed pride in this achievement, marking Iberojet's inaugural operations in airports where an A350 had never landed before.

✈️ All Nippon Airways (ANA) will close Air Japan on March 31, 2025. Air Japan was established in February 2024 as a low-cost subsidiary using B787 Dreamliners configured for economy class to serve destinations like Seoul, Bangkok, and Singapore. The failure is attributed to high competition from carriers like Asiana and Air Asia, limited fleet size with only two planes, and complex management with ANA's existing low-cost brand, Peach. ANA will focus on its full-service brand and Peach for short-haul, low-cost flights.
