Mundiplan se adelanta al Imserso: abre ventas el 12 de septiembre

🏖 Mundiplan, comprising Iberia, IAG7, and Alsa, launches its 2024/2025 season sales on September 12, 2024, offering over 100,000 spots for 55+ travelers to destinations like Baleares, Canarias, Andalucía, Cataluña, Comunidad Valenciana, Europe, Africa, Americas, and Asia. Domestic trips start at 160 euros, Baleares and Canarias packages at 449 euros, and international trips from 935 euros. Sales start 11 days before Imserso's program on September 23.

Europa ordena inspeccionar los A350 como los de Cathay

✈ On Saturday, Cathay Pacific's 18 A350s in Hong Kong will fly unrestricted after changing a piece in Rolls Royce engines. EASA ordered all A350s in Europe to inspect and replace this part to prevent fire risks. The issue arose last Monday when a flight from Hong Kong to Switzerland had to return, affecting 88 aircraft worldwide, with British Airways as the main European user. Singapore Airlines is also inspecting its 64 A350 900s as a precaution. ????

Benidorm: septiembre, el nuevo agosto para sus hoteles

🏖 In Benidorm, hotel occupancy declined by 1.6 points (86.8%) in July and 2.3 points (89.8%) in the first half of August. A slight increase of 0.4 points occurred in late August, with a final occupancy rate of 92.8%, exceeding forecasts. August's overall occupancy was 91.3%, below 2023 levels. Early September bookings predict nearly 89% occupancy, 2 points higher than in 2023, potentially surpassing August. International tourists made up 58.4% of stays in August, with the UK leading at 28.3%, followed by Portugal (13.6%), France (2.9%), and Italy (2.2%).

Un problema en los motores del A350 hunde a Rolls Royce

🚀 Flight CX383 from Cathay Pacific, en route from Hong Kong to Zurich, encountered engine issues shortly after an on-time departure and returned to land safely 75 minutes later. Cathay Pacific grounded all 18 of its A350-1000 model planes, utilizing the XWB97 engine, after identifying a faulty engine part. Subsequently, Rolls Royce's stock value plunged by 6.5%. Three aircraft have had the defective valve replaced, with the full fleet expected to return to service shortly. Worldwide, 88 planes use the XWB97 engine. Qatar operates 24, followed by British Airways with 18. Cathay Pacific canceled 34 flights due to the grounding but is now resuming normal operations.

Ávoris: “Hay plazas del Imserso suficientes para todos”

Complaints have surfaced about the unequal distribution of trips, with some pensioners unable to secure a single trip while others book multiple packages.
