Easyjet pone a Cabo Verde en primera línea comercial

✈ EasyJet expands its network by launching flights from Lisbon to Sal Island, Cape Verde. Cape Verde, an hour south of the Canary Islands near Senegal, speaks Portuguese and Creole. Sal and Boavista islands host quality hotels. EasyJet now also connects the UK, its primary market, to Cape Verde, overtaking rivals like Jet2. Currently, only TAP and Tui fly to the archipelago. Additionally, EasyJet's financial success allows it to introduce routes to Rimini, Italy from Manchester, Birmingham, and Edinburgh, increase flights to Sardinia and Marrakech, and inaugurate a Mallorca-Leeds connection.

Ávoris: en entredicho el contrato sin concurso de Correos para Iberojet

💸 Pedro Saura, current president of Correos and former Secretary of State for Transport, avoided explanations about the contract with Iberojet for Correos Cargo, costing Correos €9 million to adapt an A330 for cargo. The contract, signed for Madrid-Hong Kong operations and announced in January 2022, ended in January 2023 after operational issues, costing the public entity significantly. Correos faced €1,000 daily costs for a parked plane at Barajas Airport and post-closure, Ávoris demanded €38 million from Correos for operational expenses.

Ávoris y CDV planean crear el mayor consolidador aéreo de España

📅 Ávoris, owned by Barceló, is in talks with CDV, led by Juanfran Trasmonte since 2015, for a potential merger of their consolidators to become Spain's market leader. Decenas de miles de afectados por otro fallo informático en British Airways

La consejera valenciana, al ‘carrer’
