Los hoteles españoles salvan el invierno gracias al largo radio
🏨 Spanish hotels anticipate a positive winter season with occupancy up by 3.3 points compared to 2023, alongside earlier bookings and sustained room price increases. Despite concerns over declining interest from traditional European markets like Germany and the Nordic countries, there's a rise in long-haul market interest: North America (+21%), Latin America (+8%), Southeast Asia and Australia (+29%). Spending power in Spain is expected to rise by 6.5% versus 2023, bolstered by economic recovery and stronger dollar and pound against the euro. Hotel quality improvements have raised 4 and 5-star accommodations by 11% since 2019, propelling revenues per available room (ReVPAR) 17% above pre-pandemic levels.
