Rolls Royce and Airbus have been asked for explanations, with no comments from Airbus yet.

Un A380 almacenado en Teruel pone rumbo a Abu Dabi

Iberia recurre a Wamos Air e Iberojet por la escasez de flota

✈ Iberia, to maintain flights between Madrid and Santo Domingo, contracted Wamos Air and Iberojet due to fleet shortage from A330 maintenance. The service started on December 18 and will continue until at least December 29. Wamos Air contributes an A330-300 seating 292 passengers, whereas Iberojet provides an A330-900 with a capacity of 310 travelers. Iberia currently operates 9 weekly flights on this route, increasing to 12 in January and planning 10 per week in February and March.

Iberia se adueñará de siete Airbus A320neo de Vueling

✈ Vueling will transfer seven Airbus A320neo to Iberia, all delivered to the low-cost airline by the European manufacturer in 2018. Currently, four of these aircraft are grounded awaiting engine revision due to Pratt & Whitney issues, resolved by Vueling through the incorporation of 14 leased A320ceo throughout 2024. This move is part of Iberia's "Flight Plan 2030," intending to develop Madrid as a leading European hub and to enhance their fleet by adding more A350 models, which have surpassed the A330 numbers, as well as by utilizing the new A321XLR.

📈 Ávoris, a travel agency sector leader, signed a record number of 8,895 sale points for Imserso's social tourism trips in the current season, surpassing last year's 8,764 and 8,329 from two seasons ago. Of these, 40.9% (3,693) are part of the top six groups. Ávoris' three brands (B travel, Halcón Viajes, Viajes Ecuador) account for 1,589 offices, nearly 18% of the total. Viajes El Corte Inglés follows with 534 accredited sale points for the 2024/2025 season. Zafiro Tours and Viajes Carrefour hold 533 and 416 offices respectively, while Nautalia and Azulmarino each have just over 200 stores.
