Ya es oficial: 88,5 millones de turistas en España en 2024

🏖 Spain set a new tourism record in 2024 with 88.5 million visitors. Tourists spent €118 billion, up 16.7% from the previous year. Average stay was 7.6 days. Catalonia led in visitor numbers, followed by the Balearic and Canary Islands. The UK topped the origin list with 17.5 million visitors, France with 12.2 million, and Germany with 11.3 million. British tourists spent €1.16 billion, while Germans spent €957 million.

Se disparan las epidemias gástricas a bordo de cruceros

El tercer A321XLR es para Wizz Air, el primero con motor P&W

✈ Wizz Air to receive third A321XLR, a long-range aircraft, for its base at London's Gatwick Airport; first equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines amid past issues. The model, with 217 orders from 13 airlines, will fly the London to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia route. Wizz Air has ordered 47 ultra-long-range planes, shifting focus from competition with Ryanair and Easyjet to the Middle East market, already operating in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and with a base in Abu Dhabi. The aircraft is for Wizz Air UK, while the second goes to Wizz Air Malta, primarily operating from Italy. A321XLRs also use Leap 1A engines from CFM, as seen with Iberia and Aer Lingus.

Chipre entra en el área Schengen

Qantas retira sus B717, que ya sólo operan en EEUU

✈️ QantasLink, an Australian short-haul airline subsidiary, phased out its last Boeing 717 in late December, which once formed the backbone of both Spanair and Volotea, transporting up to 100 passengers.
