Cerdeña: 20 millones para que las aerolíneas vuelen a la isla
🌊 The island authority of Sardinia approved a €20 million budget to encourage European airlines to fly to the island and bring tourists. The initiative will cover 50% of airport costs for airlines. The plan includes prioritizing routes to the United States, Istanbul, and Asia, and proposes new connections from Alghero and Olbia in northern Sardinia to Cagliari and Ajaccio in Corsica, out of 67 intended routes. Currently, Sardinia's primary tourist area is near Olbia. Flights to Rome and Milan are publicly subsidized, with Volotea, Easyjet, and Ryanair being key airlines.
