Este es el único DC8 que aún vuela en el mundo

✈️ NASA retired its last four Douglas DC8 planes over the past two years, with the final one ceasing operation in April. Of the 556 built in Long Beach, California, only one DC8 remains active, owned by Samaritan's Purse, a North Carolina-based NGO. The aircraft, registered N782SP, was acquired in 2015, can carry up to 10 pallets of cargo or 32 passengers, and is flown by pilot John Morgan, who joined the NGO in 2020 after 18 years in private aviation. The DC8, now re-engined to a 72 model from the original 62, serves humanitarian missions worldwide.
