Ryanair hace las paces con los agentes de viajes de Italia

✈ Ryanair and Italian travel agencies, after years of conflict, have reached a satisfying collaboration agreement resulting from nine months of negotiations. Starting July 30, agencies can create a free direct account on Ryanair's website to sell products, excluding promotions. Agencies are committed to transparency, offering rates without commissions, fees, or discounts. Ryanair will handle direct communication for cancellations, offering alternatives or refunds, transferring refunds to agencies within seven days, who then have another week to refund travelers.

El secretario de la OMT y Aldama planeaban bancos en Georgia

💲 Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and Víctor de Aldama, former advisor to Air Europa, planned to create banks in Georgia in 2022 to channel funds from illicit operations involving Venezuelan oil importation. A meeting in Madrid at the end of 2022 discussed establishing banking entities to circumvent EU and US sanctions on Venezuelan crude since 2017. Aldama, named honorary consul of Georgia in Zamora in 2021 through Pololikashvili's influence, aimed to bypass Western vetoes and operate freely in the energy sector. The strategy included creating a tax depot or refinery in Georgia for importing fuel to Spain. Aldama and Pololikashvili's connection dates back to 2019, involving Javier Hidalgo and Begoña Gómez, Spain's prime minister's wife.

Volotea echa el freno en la segunda base española de Vueling

La llamada de un Hidalgo “muy jodido” a Begoña que salvó Air Europa

🏡 The Guardia Civil investigation suggests that the Hidalgo family paid €9,800 for former minister José Luis Ábalos's summer chalet in Marbella. This was allegedly in return for facilitating the €475 million government bailout of Air Europa during the pandemic when the airline was losing €2 million daily.
