🏡 Acerca Hospitality has expanded to Costa Brava by adding the 60-apartment complex, Suites del Mar Fenals in Lloret de Mar, to its portfolio. Owned by Arena Investors and Aexx Capital, this move includes plans for upgrading the suites, each featuring a private terrace and indoor jacuzzi, to premium status. Acerca Hospitality, led by Director General Gonzalo Hervás, aims to enhance market value and appeal. This is their fourth asset with Arena Investors.

🏖 Iberostar Hotels & Resorts reabrió el Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace en Jandía, Canarias, con 437 habitaciones renovadas, 4 piscinas y un gimnasio. Empleará a más de 300 personas y ofrece 3 restaurantes y bares. La sostenibilidad es clave: electricidad 100% renovable, abastecimiento responsable de mariscos y un proyecto de gestión de residuos orgánicos. La cadena, en Canarias desde 1986, opera 11 hoteles en el archipiélago y planea la neutralidad de carbono para 2030.

🛨 Waldorf Astoria New York, reopened in 2023 after an eight-year closure and a billion-dollar renovation, reduces its room count from 1,400 to 375, including 78 suites. The hotel now features private residences and expanded event spaces. Originally opened in 1931 on Park Avenue, the hotel maintains iconic elements like Cole Porter's piano. Managed by Hilton for 100 years under Dajia Insurance Group, residences range from €1.8 million to €70 million. The new restaurant, Lex Yard, is Michelin-starred.

🏨 Montenegro is advancing as a luxury destination in the Adriatic, with a tourism sector comprising about 25% of its economy. In the first half of the year, 940,800 international arrivals were reported, a 6.3% increase from 2024. New hotels include Meliá in 2025 and IHG's Crowne Plaza Kolasin opening soon. Spanish chains like Iberostar and Eurostars have expanded, along with international brands like Radisson and Kerzner. Budva and the north, including Swissôtel Resort Kolašin, are key growth areas.

🏨 En el cuarto trimestre de este año, Finca Banyols abre en Sierra de Tramontana, Mallorca, debutando como la primera Vignette Collection en España. Localizada en Alaró, la finca de 100 hectáreas ofrece 32 habitaciones de lujo, dos piscinas y senderismo privado. Los restaurantes Aramesh y Tafona 1475, dirigidos por el chef Dani Chávez Bello, ofrecen cocina mallorquina. El hotel, a 30 km del Aeropuerto Internacional de Sant Joan, estará operativo todo el año.
