Así es el nuevo barco de la flota de Royal Caribbean que parará en España

🛳 Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas, launching in August 2025, sets sail from Port Canaveral, Orlando. Built over two years at Meyer Turku shipyard, Finland, this 364-meter, 248,600-gross-ton vessel accommodates 5,610 passengers and 2,350 crew. It features 2,805 cabins, a record-breaking water park, and an infinity pool. The ship's itinerary includes the Caribbean, with added destinations in 2026 and 2027 like Royal Beach Club Cozumel and Perfect Day México. Diana Ross will officiate its inauguration.

Travelodge compra en edificio en Madrid para un hotel de 90 habitaciones

Located 30 minutes by public transport from central Madrid, this is part of Travelodge's expansion strategy in Spain, with 20 target locations identified. The site offers easy access to Madrid's airport and train stations.

Casual inicia su expansión en Grecia con su segundo hotel en Atenas

🏨 Casual Hoteles, apenas mes y medio tras abrir su primer hotel en Grecia, proyecta su segundo hotel en Atenas, con 87 habitaciones y apertura en 2026. El hotel, ubicado a 150 metros de la Plaza Omonia, contará con un rooftop con vistas al Partenón. El 1 de junio, Casual inauguró el Casual Kubic Athens, su hotel más grande en Europa, con 112 habitaciones. La cadena busca expandirse en Grecia, España, Italia y Portugal, con un nuevo hotel en Nápoles previsto a fin de año.

La mayor cartera hotelera en venta rebaja su precio para salvar la marca

💵 LCN Capital Partners acquired the largest hotel portfolio in Spain from British fund Pygmalion and CBRE Investment Management for €225 million, 6.25% below the asking price. The decision favored retaining Silken Hotels as the operator, despite a higher €245 million bid from Fattal. The portfolio includes nine hotels, with the Al Andalus Palace in Sevilla comprising 40% of the valuation. LCN also owns 27 Mercadona supermarkets in Spain, purchased for €180 million in 2020.

Cuánto han subido los precios de los paquetes en 3 años: hasta un 44%

Galicia lanza una nueva edición del bono turístico

¿Quién compra hoteles? Dos de cada tres inversores son nacionales

💸 Entre enero y junio 2025, los inversores nacionales canalizaron más de 1.000 millones de euros en el sector hotelero, representando el 64% de la inversión total. La compra más grande fue Mare Nostrum Resort por Spring Hotels por 430 millones de euros. Se transaccionaron 70 hoteles con 8.100 habitaciones, destacando hoteles de 4 y 5 estrellas. Las Islas Canarias lideran como destino preferido con el 38% de inversión, seguidas por Barcelona (22%) y Baleares (14%).
