Drago transformará un edificio histórico de Lisboa en alojamiento de lujo

🏠 Drago, a real estate investment firm, invests €5 million in Lisbon's historic Casa de Santos, set for luxury tourism by autumn 2026. Starting October, the 19th-century building will transform into nine high-end apartments across 2,000 m². TAKK Group manages the project, with Lorenzo Castillo designing interiors. Acquired post-2008 crisis, the project aligns with Drago's strategy to revitalize Southern Europe's historical sites.

Meliá Hotels International abre su primer hotel ME en Portugal

🏨 ME Lisbon, the debut hotel of Meliá Hotels International's lifestyle brand, opens in the heart of Lisbon between Avenida da Liberdade and Marquês de Pombal. It features 213 rooms, including a 107 m² Ultimate ME+ Suite. The building's design is by João Paciência and interiors by Broadway Malyan. The hotel boasts the KORPO spa, two dining ventures—Fismuler and Attiko by Sunset Hospitality—and an artistic and social calendar integrating music, art, and fashion.

HBX Group alcanza los 182 M € de ingresos, un 3% más

💰 HBX Group International reported €182 million in revenue for the third fiscal quarter (ending June 30), a 3% increase from the previous year, aided by late Easter dates. Total transaction value for the quarter was €2.176 billion, up 5%, with a 9% increase over nine months. Revenue in Spain rose by 4%, contrasting with a 3% decline in the U.S. due to a weaker dollar. El fondo Cerberus inicia la desinversión en el sector hotelero

🏨 Cerberus Capital Management has started divesting from the hotel sector. In 2022, Cerberus acquired a majority stake in Ferrer Hotels, placing it among Spain's top 10 hotel investors. Ferrer Hotels operates five establishments in Mallorca and one in Menorca. Cerberus previously attempted to acquire Italian airline Alitalia but was unsuccessful. Potential buyers are showing interest in Cerberus’s hotel assets. Ferrer Hotels declined to comment.

Las reservas desde Alemania, Francia, Italia y EEUU crecen en torno al 30%

🏠 Durante los últimos siete días en España, las reservas hoteleras han crecido en el País Vasco (34%), Castilla y León (27.7%) y Madrid (21.2%). Para el mismo período de 2024, Castilla y León creció un 38.7%, Madrid 36.5%, y Murcia 30.5%. Cataluña, Andalucía, y Baleares lideran con 18.9%, 16.9%, y 16% de cuota de mercado. El 52.6% de reservas son parejas, con estancias de 2-5 noches (52.2%), y 40.55% reservadas con 15-60 días de anticipación. España, pese a caer 5.1%, lidera en origen con 51.4%.
