🏨 Spanish holiday hotels' direct web bookings show a 19.6% increase in average booking value to €1,117 and a 4.4% rise in stay duration to 4.74 nights in the first half of 2024 compared to the previous year. Over 100,000 bookings from January to June for more than 400 hotels, mainly in the archipelagos, reveal travelers book an average of 74 days in advance. Top room choice is double occupancy at 56%, with breakfast included (27.5%) being the most popular package, followed by all-inclusive (25.5%). The domestic market accounts for nearly 48% of bookings, with Spain's national tourists averaging shorter stays of 4.32 days. However, Irish travelers lead with the longest stays at 6.31 days, while North American bookings to destinations like Mallorca have surged by 47% from the same period in 2023.
